Description

Delicious taco pizza made with a variety of toppings and flavors!


Ingredients

  • 16 oz. refried beans (store-bought or homemade, black or pinto)
  • 1 oz. taco seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • 8 oz. taco sauce (store-bought or homemade, divided)
  • 16 oz. pizza dough (store-bought or homemade, room temperature)
  • 3 cups shredded Mexican cheese blend (Colby jack or mild cheddar)
  • ½ cup halved cherry tomatoes
  • ½ cup chopped green bell pepper
  • ¼ cup sliced olives
  • 1 sliced green onions (optional, for topping)
  • 1 fresh cilantro (optional, for topping)
  • 1 sour cream (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 500°F.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix the refried beans, taco seasoning, and half of the taco sauce together.
  3. On a floured surface, stretch and roll the dough into a 12-inch circle.
  4. Spread the refried beans evenly over the dough.
  5. Drizzle on the remaining taco sauce.
  6. Top with ¾ of the cheese, tomatoes, bell pepper, and olives. Sprinkle on the remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the crust is brown.
  8. Top with dollops of sour cream, green onions, and cilantro if desired. Slice and serve.
