Description

  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2025 slices of pepperoni
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough:
    • In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
    • Add olive oil, flour, and salt. Mix until the dough forms.
    • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
    • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  2. Prepare the Stuffed Crust:
    • Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
    • Roll out the dough to a large circle, ensuring it’s big enough to cover your pizza pan plus an extra 1 inch for the crust.
    • Place mozzarella sticks or string cheese along the edge of the dough.
    • Fold the dough over the cheese and seal tightly to form the stuffed crust.
  3. Assemble the Pizza:
    • Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
    • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
    • Arrange pepperoni slices over the cheese.
  4. Season the Crust:
    • Mix melted butter, garlic powder, oregano, and parsley.
    • Brush this mixture over the stuffed crust edges.
  5. Bake the Pizza:
    • Place the pizza in the preheated oven.
    • Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
