Delicious and easy-to-make tuna oat patties, perfect for a quick meal.
Ingredients

- 2 cans tuna packed in water, drained
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 large egg
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, oats, egg, onion, garlic, mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until the mixture is uniform and can hold its shape.
- Shape the mixture into small, compact patties using your hands.
- Warm a thin layer of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties for a few minutes per side, or until they turn crisp and golden.
- Transfer the patties to a paper towel–lined plate to remove excess oil. Serve warm.
Notes
- These patties can be served with a side salad or in a bun as a sandwich.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
