Description

Delicious bite-sized marinated steak coated in a savory miso dressing.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or tenderloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tbsp white or yellow miso paste
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • optional sesame seeds or green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together miso paste, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil until smooth.
  3. Toss the steak cubes in half of the dressing.
  4. Add oil and sear marinated steak cubes for 3-4 minutes per side until crispy yet juicy.
  5. Return cooked bites to the bowl with remaining dressing and toss to coat.
  6. Plate the steak bites and garnish with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.
