Description
A delicious Instant Pot recipe featuring tender beef and fresh broccoli in a savory sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lb chuck roast or flank steak, sliced into thin strips
- 1 tbsp canola oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 lb broccoli, cut into florets
- 3 tbsp water
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Heat canola oil in the Instant Pot on ‘Sauté’ and brown the beef strips in batches.
- Stir in beef broth, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil until combined.
- Lock the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
- Do a quick pressure release, then remove the lid carefully.
- Mix cornstarch and water until smooth, and stir into the beef and sauce to thicken.
- Add broccoli florets and coat them in the sauce.
- Close the lid and cook on ‘Sauté’ for 3 minutes (fresh broccoli) or 5 minutes (frozen).
- Stir again before serving and enjoy!

- This dish pairs well with steamed rice or noodles.
- Adjust the amount of broccoli based on preference.
