Description
Delicious and healthy ground turkey lettuce wraps filled with fresh vegetables and flavors.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup sliced cucumber
- 4 cups lettuce (butter, romaine, or iceberg), chopped or whole leaves
- 1 tablespoon sriracha or chili sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Instructions
- Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, and cook until fragrant.
- Add the ground turkey and break it up with a spatula. Cook until no longer pink.
- Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, and green onions. Let simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- While the turkey cooks, prep the veggies: shred the carrots, slice the cucumber, and wash and dry the lettuce.
- In serving bowls, layer lettuce on the bottom, then spoon in the hot turkey mixture.
- Top with carrots, cucumber, green onions, and sesame seeds.
- Drizzle with sriracha or chili sauce if desired.
- Serve immediately while warm and fresh.
Notes
- These wraps are perfect for a light lunch or dinner.
- Adjust the spice level by adding more or less sriracha.
