Ingredients

  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Fresh, chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Allow the steaks to reach room temperature. Pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. Season both sides of each steak generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat your grill to high heat. Brush the steaks with olive oil.
  4. Place the steaks on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust according to your preferred doneness.
  5. Transfer the steaks to a plate and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  6. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  7. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  8. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  9. Whisk in the Dijon mustard and continue to cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  10. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  11. Place the steaks on serving plates.
  12. Pour the creamy sauce over each steak.
  13. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

  • For best results, use a meat thermometer to check doneness: 130°F (54°C) for medium-rare, 140°F (60°C) for medium.
