Description
Deliciously seared steak bites tossed in garlic butter and garnished with fresh parsley.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/2 pounds steak (sirloin, ribeye, tenderloin, or New York strip, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 cloves garlic (minced)
- fresh parsley (chopped for garnish)
Instructions
- Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Let it get hot.
- Add the steak cubes to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 1-3 minutes on each side until a nice sear forms. Work in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding the pan. Remove the steak and set aside.
- Reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic as it will become bitter.
- Return the steak cubes to the skillet along with any juices and toss them in the garlic butter. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, to heat through.
- Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
Notes
- Ensure that the pan is hot before adding the steak for a good sear.
- Do not overcrowd the pan to maintain high heat for cooking.
