Description

Deliciously seared steak bites tossed in garlic butter and garnished with fresh parsley.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds steak (sirloin, ribeye, tenderloin, or New York strip, cut into 1 1/2-inch cubes)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic (minced)
  • fresh parsley (chopped for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Let it get hot.
  3. Add the steak cubes to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 1-3 minutes on each side until a nice sear forms. Work in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding the pan. Remove the steak and set aside.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic as it will become bitter.
  5. Return the steak cubes to the skillet along with any juices and toss them in the garlic butter. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, to heat through.
  6. Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Ensure that the pan is hot before adding the steak for a good sear.
  • Do not overcrowd the pan to maintain high heat for cooking.
