Description

A quick and flavorful chow mein stir-fry with vegetables and spices.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz chow mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, cabbage)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions until just tender, drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.
  4. Add garlic and ginger, stirring for an additional minute.
  5. Combine cooked noodles with vegetables, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper, tossing until well combined.
  6. Garnish with green onions and serve.
