Ingredients
Scale
- 15 ounces yellow cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix the yellow cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 28 to 32 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool for 5 minutes, then use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the top.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and melted butter until smooth.
- Slowly pour the cinnamon mixture over the warm cake, making sure it flows into the holes.
- Let the cake cool completely so the filling settles and the texture stays soft.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze all over the cooled cake.
- Slice and serve at room temperature or chilled.
