Description

Deliciously sweet and savory blueberry and cheddar sandwiches, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 slices bread (your choice)
  • 100 g (1 cup) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 60 g (¼ cup) cream cheese, softened
  • 80 g (½ cup) fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 12 tsp honey (optional)
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: In a small bowl, mash the blueberries slightly. Mix with cream cheese and honey if using.
  2. Assemble sandwiches: Spread the blueberry-cream cheese mixture on two slices of bread. Top with shredded cheddar, then cover with the remaining bread slices.
  3. Cook: Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook 3–5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  4. Serve: Slice in half and enjoy warm.

Notes

  • For a sweeter sandwich, increase the amount of honey.
  • You can use any bread of your choice, like whole grain or white.
  • These sandwiches can also be served with a side of fresh fruit.
