Description

Delicious rolls filled with cream cheese and fresh blueberries, drizzled with a lemon glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 tsp milk
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Baking Dish
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling
    • In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  3. Assemble the Rolls
    • Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into the pre-cut triangles.
    • Spread a generous tablespoon of cream cheese mixture on each triangle.
    • Evenly distribute the blueberries over the cream cheese layer.
    • Carefully roll up each triangle, starting from the wide end, and place them seam-side down in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Bake the Rolls
    • Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Prepare the Glaze
    • While rolls are baking, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk to make a smooth glaze.
    • Add lemon zest to the glaze for extra flavor.
  6. Finish and Serve
    • Once baked, remove rolls from the oven and let them cool slightly.
    • Drizzle the lemon glaze over the warm rolls.
    • Serve warm and enjoy!
