Description

This delicious banana chocolate chip bread is moist and perfect for breakfast or a snack!


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 4×8 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and a pinch of salt.
  5. Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until well incorporated.
  6. Mix in the flour until just incorporated.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top.
  9. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  10. Let cool before slicing and serving.
